Composer, pianist, and educator, Christian Martin currently resides in upstate New York. He studied composition with Paul Goldstaub, Christopher Morgan Loy, and Daniel Thomas Davis at Binghamton University and is currently pursuing his D.M.A. under Daniel Asia at the University of Arizona. He has won multiple awards for music that has been performed by several artists and ensembles like The San Jose Choral Project and Menharmonics, Corpus Christi Chorale, Michael Compitello (former percssionist of Ensemble Moderne), and grammy-award winning mezzo soprano Jacqueline Horner-Kwiatek. He participates annually in multiple nationwide competitions, as well as performing ensembles and premiere performances of original works.
